Harpist, Laurie Galster
Laurie began her musical studies on the piano at the age
of seven. Developing an ear for music, she would often
be found playing familiar tunes and melodies with her twin sister. It was much later that her interest in harp began. A harpist had come to her area with a publicized concert in the newspaper. It was at that concert that Laurie became
captivated with the harp.
Laurie currently enjoys performing on her antique gold Wurlitzer harp. This Wurlitzer semi-grand harp was built in the 1920's and has been fully restored by Howard Bryan in 2005. It’s voice and projection is amazing and sounds as angelic as its stunning appearance. You will often find Laurie performing harp in the Payson surrounding area, as well as Flagstaff and Phoenix metro.
Laurie and her family reside in beautiful Payson, Arizona.
